Our Design Methodologies

Every design is focused on the following three complementary design methodologies; Design for Test (DfT), Design for Manufacturing (DfM), and Cost of Goods (CoG). DfT and DfM support high yield and productivity and DfM and CoG support reduced labor and component expenses. By committing to these design methodologies our development and production department are constantly working together to create high-quality products at sharp prices.

A Dedicated and Flexible Workforce

The most important factor that keeps us one step ahead of the competition is our workforce. Our workforce is always dedicated to successfully complete every project and is very flexible. Our employees are always eager to learn and excellent in creating ‘out-of-the-box’-solutions.

Product Lifecycle Responsibility

AME takes responsibility for the complete product lifecycle of our products; design, prototyping, production, and after-sales-service. We are committed to establish long-term relations with our customers, creating mutual commitment and benefits.

Process Measurements and Management

AME uses specific (automated) measurements in our lifecycle processes to make the process manageable, and thus controllable, processes. Controlled processes support AME in managing and reducing time and cost during development and production. So by using defined, measured, and managed processes throughout the Product Lifecycle AME is able to deliver high-quality products at agreed cost and within schedule.

Information Systems Support

AME uses three interrelated information systems; Product Data Management, Tracking & Tracing, and a Purchasing & Logistics system. These three systems together cover the complete product lifecycle.
