We believe that the Environment is an essential corporate responsibility. Our policy is to conduct all our operations in an environmentally responsible manner, in compliance with relevant legislation and regulations and with due regard to the efficient use of sustainable resources, to minimize waste and conserve energy.
Quality and Environmental Management System
We operate to a quality and environmental management system (QEMS) as we believe this is critical to the success of AME, our customers and their products.
What is the goal of this quality and environmental management system?
This question takes us straight to the heart of what quality is about: customer satisfaction. AME is committed to make its customers competitive with innovative products and services that conform to their requirements. Our objective is always to meet or exceed their expectations. Our quality management system ensures that we can monitor and analyze our performance, and that we can keep improving ourselves. Especially in a market that is changing so fast, it is essential that we can respond quickly to serve our customers in the best possible way.
The key elements of our strategy are:
- A strong commitment of all AME employees to quality.
- A culture of continual improvement, perseverance and challenge.
- Appropriate documented processes, procedures and controls.

- The management team takes a personal interest in all projects and our customers and are available to meet with them to ensure that they are satisfied with our progress.
What does the quality management system consist of?
AME uses the lean principles throughout its organization. These principles also reflect in a compact and fully digitized quality management system and corresponding set of required documents. A clear overview of AME's main processes is available and provides links with all other documents that are required by the standards ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. How do we process orders, how do we ensure product quality, how do we inform customers, how do we handle complaints, etcetera. The description of our processes helps us to know what we have to do, why and how. Moreover, the system helps us, for instance via customer satisfaction interviews, to find the "weak spots" in our processes, so we can take measures to improve our performance.
How does the ISO certification fit in this picture?
ISO certification means that an independent, objective observer has verified that the quality system is complete and accurate and that AME employees act according to it. It is the policy of AME to employ a ISO approved accreditation company (currently KEMA Quality BV) to assess the QEMS, designs and products in accordance with the applicable standards, regulatory requirements and associated EU Directives.
What does quality management mean for AME’s customers?
Our customers can be certain that AME will act consistently and reliably, and tries to achieve continuous performance improvement. Of course there are always aspects that can be improved, and we invite you to contact us if you are not satisfied about anything. You can be sure we will go for improvement.
