AME

AME was formed in 1996 as an independent company starting at the high tech center of the Eindhoven University of Technology. In 1998 the company acquired a mutual initiative in the field of IT and Communications, named SolvIT and situated this as an extension in a high synergetic field on the companys activities.

AME her charter is to provide advanced research and development for new products in the field of Electronics and Information Technology. The company consists of 3 departments; AME-RD&D electronics, AME-SolvIT and AME-Products. The synergy of those three departments extends the applications into new areas of technology and levels of performance.

AME-RD&D

The AME-RD&D department is the oldest department of Applied Micro Electronics. Here the basis is created for full custom electronic designs, created by the selected design team. The structured design methodology and the focus on delimited areas of technology guarantees the company’s statement Reliability by design, which we will find throughout all the design activities.

AME-SolvIT

In connection with the AME-RD&D activities, the AME-SolvIT department focuses on the development of advanced communications between electronic circuits and PC driven GUI solutions and algorithms and focuses on advanced web based database technology. All the development departments are equipped with the most state of the art measurement equipment and development tools, to realise good testability and maintainability of the products.

AME-Products

The AME-Products department focuses on the manufacturing and testing of the PCBs. Because the Products Department is involved early on in the Design Process Design for Manufacturing is guaranteed. All the relevant documentation in combination with the manufacturing expertise and an advanced Tracking & Tracing system is the basis on which the final product is manufactured and tested.
